Description: The United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Centers, �Long Range Enforcer Branch 2, Oakland, CA anticipates awarding sole source procurement to ADRICK MARINE for the following Services: Location of work to be performed: USCGC WILLOW (WLB 202) 1050 Register St, N. Charleston, SC 29405 Period of Performance: 1st choice:������� Week of 22 February 2021 2nd choice:������ Week of 01 March 2021 Points of Contact: Vessel: WILLOW Sean Florane, CWO (228) 365-4326���������������������� Sean.M.Florane@uscg.mil Product Line Support: Stephen Horvath, LT� (443) 764-4921 Stephen.B.Horvath@uscg.mil � Vessel Details: USCGC WILLOW is moored at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Charleston, SC. Access to installation is gained by establishing communications with vessel point of contact above and completing a contractor access and background check 7 days prior to the time access is needed. Description of Problem: Improperly operating Air Conditioning plant. Starting the 100 unit in auto mode eventually leads to a safety shutdown due to rapidly cycling liquid line solenoid valves within approximately 20 seconds. Ships force troubleshot electrically by swapping HMI�s with the 200 plant with failed results. The refrigerant charge was verified to be correct.� All other safety devices were inspected for proper operation and were found within parameters.� The 100 plant is not able to be operated unless it is in manual mode, which bypasses installed safety shutdowns. Ships force requested troubleshooting guidance from ADRICK Marine Group, Inc. and were informed that the system would needs to be diagnostically tested with the computer programming, a function WILLOW cannot perform. Work to be performed: Technical Publication: AMC-334-2Q Adrick Drawing: 7166-01 Adrick Drawing: 7166-03 Technicians to travel to cutter and conduct on-site troubleshooting with diagnostic programming and effect repairs to failed components. A CFR is requested for any work, repairs, or parts that exceed the approved quoted amount. Technicians will operationally test and groom the 100 plant to manufacturer specified settings. �This procurement will be made on behalf of the USCGC willow. �Vendor will provide all the parts listed above. �NAICS Code # 333611 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before 0800 FEBRUARY 16, 2021 will be reviewed by the Government. ��A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. �Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The solicitation is restricted to: ARICK MARINE Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited. If no affirmative responses are received by the date specified above to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, a purchase order will be negotiated and awarded to ADRICK MARINE.
