Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: �Letterkenny Army Depot intends to issue a sole source, firm-fixed price requirements supply contract for High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) parts in support of the Army and Marine Corps HIMARS Overhaul Program located at Letterkenny Army Depot, to Lockheed Martin Corporation (dba Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control), 1701 West Marshall Drive, Grand Prairie, TX� 75051-2704, CAGE Code 64059. The period of performance of this contract will include one base year and four (4) one-year options periods. The Government does not possess the technical data package (TDP). The TDP is proprietary to the original manufacturer, Lockheed Martin Corporation (dba Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control). This will be Freight On Board (FOB) destination to Letterkenny Army Depot. The 2017 North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 336419 � Other Guided Missile and Space Vehicle Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing; the size standard is 1,000 employees; and the product code is 1427 � Guided Missile Subsystems. The Statutory Authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition for this action is U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented in FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), �Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies and Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements�. Solicitation number W911N221R0012 will be released on or about 26 February 2021, with a closing date on or about 26 March 2021. The annotated closing date for the solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation. The solicitation will not close prior to the annotated closing date. A copy of the solicitation can be downloaded from https://beta.sam.gov on or about 26 February 2021. All interested sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency.
