Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to procure on a brand name limited competition basis a five (5) year Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract for a quantity of up to 10 each for the production and engineering support of the Flash Technology (formerly Carmanah) Solar Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) Taxiway and supplementary Airfield Lighting Suites in support of the Expeditionary Airfield (EAF) Solar Airfield Lighting System. A suite includes the Solar Taxiway Kit (qty 4), Solar VTOL Kit (qty 4), Solar Sign Kit (qty 1), L-806 Secondary Wind Cone Kit (qty 6), and L-807 Primary Wind Cone Kit (qty 1). The Solar Taxiway Kit consists of solar FAA L-861T compliant taxiway and FAA L-810 compliant obstruction lights, wireless controllers, and associated installation hardware.� The Solar VTOL Kit consists of Solar VTOL and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) L-810 compliant obstruction lights, wireless controllers, solar powered FAA compliant L-854 Aircraft Radio Control of Aerodrome Lighting (ARCAL), and associated installation hardware.� The wireless controllers and ARCAL shall be compatible with all equipment.� The Solar Sign Kit consists of solar powered FAA type L-858L, Size 3 compliant taxiway location signs, FAA type L-858B, Size 4 compliant arresting gear marker signs, FAA type L-858B, Size 4 compliant runway distance marker signs, and associated installation hardware.� The L-806 Secondary Wind Cone Kit consists of a solar powered FAA type L-806, style I-B, size 1 compliant wind cone and associated installation hardware.� The L-807 Primary Wind Cone Kit consists of a solar powered FAA type L-807, style I-B, size 2 compliant wind cone and associated installation hardware. The described kits, as well as all necessary associated packaging, fulfill the United States Marine Corps (USMC) requirement. The Government intends to solicit the above contract under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received to this notice.� Responses must be received within fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice.� A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for an award of a contract.
