Description

1. The Department of Veteran Affairs intends to solicit quotes for a Contractor to provide all transportation, labor, supplies, supervision, and materials required to fabricate dental prosthetics in accordance with prescription specifications. The preference is the contractor shall be a full service laboratory that can integrate the combined treatment needs of the prosthetic patient requiring simultaneous fixed, removable, and implant supported prostheses. However, in areas where full service is not offered or if the dental clinic needs cannot be met, then dental labs specializing in either fixed or removable will be acceptable. Place of delivery is Roseburg, OR. The Request for Quote (RFQ) number is 36C26021Q0243. 2. The solicitation will result in the award of a single contract. The resulting contract will be fixed-price. The applicable NAICS code is 339116 Dental Laboratories and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This procurement is being solicited as open market and a will be 100% Small Business Set-Aside. 3. The anticipated contract period is 15 days from the date of award. 4. Telephonic requests for the solicitation will not be honored. When issued, the solicitation will be available via the Contract Opportunities website, https://beta.sam.gov/. The tentative solicitation issue date is 16 February 2021, and the anticipated closing date is 01 March 2021. Interested offerors are advised to consult the actual solicitation for final dates and times. 5. Offers from all capable and responsible sources will be considered. Firms offering a response to this notice should ensure that they are registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database https://www.sam.gov/SAM/ and ensure that the applicable NAICS code 339116 is included in the SAM profile prior to submission of quotes. 6.
