- Page 2 of 2 SPECIAL NOTICE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), John D. Dingell Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) Detroit MI, 48201 is soliciting and intends to award a firm fixed price service contract on the TeraRecon CT 3D Reconstruction/Post Processing System covering, but not limited to: access, tech support, maintenance for critical patches on equipment operating systems, other database software, direct technical support on the hardware products, as well as hardware replacement or refresh as required to provide proper performance of the latest software versions, in addition to on-site software support as may be deemed by TeraRecon to help provide timely resolutions of anomalies- located at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, MI 48201. NAICS Code 811219, size standard $22.0 million. The Government intends, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), to negotiate on a sole source basis with TeraRecon (4309 Emperor Boulevard, Suite 310, Durham, NC 27703), for this procurement due to the proprietary nature of the hardware, software, and firmware of this system. TeraRecon will provide yearly update on the TeraRecon post processing imaging equipment by making sure equipment is constantly updated and will provide service repairs whenever there is an issue with the system located at Veterans Health Administration, John Dingell VA Medical Center 4646 John R St. Detroit, MI 48201, for the period of April 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022 which includes 4 option years in strict accordance with the statement of work, all schedules, and terms and conditions of the resultant contract. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received NLT 3:30 EST on 02/19/2020.
