- Description
- PLEASE SEE A LIST OF ALL THE QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS How are the QR codes going to work? (This is a new requirement and will be provided by the contractor) Does the VA already have a system in place? (No) Will the contractor rely on the VA to generate QR codes? (No) Are exact locations known for each piece of equipment? (Yes) What information is readily available for each piece of equipment? E.g. voltages, pressures, circuit diagrams, circuit breaker locations, routing diagrams, etc. (all equipment is in place, voltages, pressures, breakers locations are known, original drawings can be provided) Is there a template LOTO procedure that the VA requires, or will the contractor generate one? (contractor will generate one) Will the contractor have full access to all equipment, or will some items require VA assistance? (Yes, any that are in locked spaces a VA Tech will provide access to the space) How many will need VA assistance? (do not have an exact number that are in locked spaces but any requiring access a VA Tech will assist) How much involvement will the contractor get from the VA employees? (The VA will be completely involved in this process to ensure that all necessary equipment is covered) Will VA employees take the contractor to the equipment? (Yes) In paragraph 4.2, what software program is mentioned for uploading asset information? (this software will be provided by the contractor) For tagging isolation points, can you provide more information on this process type of tags used, labeling procedures, and availability of tags? (This will be provided by the contractor after reviewing the location of the equipment) For printed procedures, are there minimum requirements for paper thickness, laminated thickness, attachment methods etc.? (No minimum requirement, must be durable and laminated, attachment will vary by equipment determined during the inspection process) Can you confirm the number of training sessions required? 2 during regular business hours and 2 during after-hours?( we have two facilities which will have to be trained, the shifts operate for 0000 t0 1200 and 1200 to 2400 so training could be conducted in the morning between 0800 to 1200 and in the afternoon from 1200 to 1600 so an after normal hours train should not be necessary) How many students will be in each training session? (would plan on 20 students per class) 12.Does the VA have a deadline they would like this project completed?(90 days after the award of the contract) I am hoping to find out if there is an incumbent contractor currently performing these services, if similar services have been performed in the past, or if this is a new requirement. (There is no incumbent contractor performing these services this is a new requirement and has not been performed in the past) 13.If this is a follow-on requirement, could you please provide the previous contract or task order number? (This is not a follow-on requirement)
