Description
FY20 Mill and Overlay Runway 13-31 All Asphalt & Repair Shoulder, Cannon AFB, Curry County, NM.� The proposed procurement is an Unrestricted Best Value Tradeoff Request For Proposal (RFP).� NAICS is 237310, with a size standard of $39,500,000.00.� The magnitude of construction for this project will be between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00. �Bonding will be required for this acquisition. �Offerors attention is directed to Section 002000 in the Solicitation for information regarding the tour of the site. �Plans will be issued on or about 17 June 2020, with proposals due on or about 17 July 2020.� Offerors are advised that this requirement may be delayed, cancelled, or revised at any time during the solicitation, or final award process, and is subject to the availability of funds. THE PROJECT includes the construction of an AC 4"" min deep mill and overlay of Runway 13/31. In addition, construct 25 Ft. shoulders along both sides of Runway 13/31, approximately 8,200 ft. in length. Project includes: removing existing shoulders; installing paved shoulders; installing runway lighting; installing threshold lighting in tailhook gap; installing counterpoise system; improving site subbase; grading for proper drainage; painting/repainting airfield markings, as required; and all necessary work to bring paved and unpaved areas up to acceptable DoD. THE PROJECT will be advertised as a Request for Proposal.� Competitive proposals will be evaluated based on the evaluation criteria set forth in the solicitation package.� Evaluation by the Government will result in selection of a firm that represents the best value to the Government.� The proposed procurement will result in a firm-fixed price contract.� Questions of a technical nature should be addressed to Mr. Lance Faerber at (505) 342-3345 or e-mail at:� lance.r.faerber@usace.army.mil.� OFFERORS MUST BE REGISTERED with System for Award Management (SAM), in order to receive a Government Contract award.� To register, the SAM Internet address is: http://www.sam.gov.� Additionally, a paper form for registration may be obtained from the DoD Electronic Commerce Information Center at 1-800-334-3414.
