Description
PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Project Title: Remove Damaged ACM The Department of Veterans Affairs, 508 Fulton Street Durham, NC has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, material, supplies, equipment, transportation, permits, license and qualified supervision to Remove Damaged ACM in Building 1, and 6, Durham VAMC 508 Fulton Street Durham, NC. General Scope: The contractor shall supply all tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, materials and North Carolina accredited asbestos workers and supervisors to remove or repair and properly dispose of the removed asbestos containing materials (ACMs) identified in the table below. This requirement will also require monitoring for asbestos fiber exposure. Building 6 B004-6 has some shelving with stock that will have to be moved. The contractor will follow all Federal, State, and Local regulations and VA Directives and Policies for the removal or repair and disposal of the identified ACMs. Copies of the waste manifest will be required. Estimated construction magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000 NAICS CODE: 562910 Size Standard: $20.5 Million This solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Solicitation material will be available on/about March 10, 2021. Any specifications, drawings and amendments will be posted on this web site. Proposals will be due approximately 28 days after issuance of the solicitation. Location and points of contact for site visits will be identified in the solicitation. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. No bidders list is maintained. All interested vendors should register on this website. It is the offerors responsibility to check the web site periodically for any amendments/notices to the solicitation. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database in order to obtain access in Beta.SAM. SAM and Vetbiz registration must be current and active to be eligible for contract award.
