Page 2 of 2 This is a Pre-Solicitation notice for Solicitation Number 36C24221B0017 - Project Number 561A4-17-110 Renovate Bound Brook Residence at VA NJ Health Care System, Bound Brook Residence, 309 East High Street, Bound Brook, NJ. 08805. This shall be a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). As a result, all SDVOSB's may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. This project is classified under NAICS Code 236118 and has a size standard of $39.5 Million. The cost estimate range for this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Scope of Work: Furnish all necessary professional Construction services to provide complete scope of work to Renovate Bound Brook Residence in accordance to the project drawings and specifications and in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. Work includes general construction, existing structural, alterations, asbestos abatement, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work, necessary removal of existing finishes and construction and certain other items. Contractor shall renovate the existing Bound Brook Residence, which serves as transitional housing for veterans. Work will include floor repairs, renovation of kitchens and bathrooms, repair of porches and installation of a replacement handicap lift. Paving and fence repair or replacement will also be required. The work shall be performed in a professional manner adhering to strict patient safety and infection control measures. All work will be done using approved materials and a professional work force. All work is to be completed on a timely basis as outlined on the contractors approved schedule. Project Completion: 240 Calendar Days from Notice-to-Proceed (NTP). All other details and information shall be contained in the solicitation which shall be posted on https://beta.sam.gov. The solicitation will be released on or about 01/29/2021. The response submittal address, date and time will be included in the solicitation. This project requires bonding and all responses/submissions shall be in hardcopies; faxed or e-mailed bids will not be accepted. All prospective bidders must be currently registered in www.sam.gov and be registered and verified as a SDVOSB in www.vip.vetbiz.gov at the time of offer submission and before award of this procurement.
