- This synopsis is being amended to correct the qty of bellmouths, which has been reduced from three (3) to two (2). SYNOPSIS T-45 Program- Bellmouth Solicitation# N68335-21-Q-0121 The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to procure an overall quantity of two (2) bellmouths, part number RX56070. Test cell operation of the Adour (F405RR401) engine requires a bellmouth to properly direct air into the engine air inlet. To ensure proper air inlet pressure during test cell operation, the engine manufacturers recommend part number RX56070, bellmouth (NSN: 4920-99-930-8034). The dimension of the Adour (F405RR401) engine requires precise positioning between the air meter and bellmouth structure and engine to ensure proper air inlet pressure, thus fulfilling the requirements.� The resultant contract will be Firm Fixed Price. This procurement will be conducted as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS 326199- All Other Plastics Product Manufacturing, with a size standard of 750 employees. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a quotation, which may be used by the government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Potential Offerors must be currently registered in in the System for Award Management (SAM) and furnish their 5 digit CAGE code with their quote to effect electronic payment. SAM registration information can be found at https://www.sam.gov and is mandatory for consideration. The solicitation will be posted in approximately 15 calendar days from this announcement on Unison Marketplace and will be open to all interested small businesses that express an interest and possess an approved DD2345 Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement.
