- TITLE:� REQUEST FOR INFORMATION, DFAS-COLUMBUS �� Please respond by:� Wednesday, February 24, 2021, 11:00 a.m. Eastern. Maintenance and Service for quantity one (1) Canon ColorWave 3600 Printer plus Stacker Select Sorter at the Defense Finance and Accounting Service in Columbus, Ohio.� The period of performance is expected to be for one base plus up to four option years. � DESCRIPTION:� DFAS-Columbus is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to determine how many capable vendors are interested in this requirement and to determine how many of these interested vendors are Small Businesses.� NOTE:� This is NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ);� this is a Request for Information (RFI) ONLY. � The maintenance and service is for quantity one (1) Canon ColorWave 3600 Printer plus Stacker Select Sorter.� The location of the machines and where service is to be performed is at the DFAS-Columbus, Ohio location, 3990 East Broad Street, Bldg. 21, Columbus, Ohio 43213.� Highlights of expected requirement:� This is expected to be a Brand Name or Equal requirement.� The client is requesting new, not used or refurbished, parts in the maintenance and service.� The proposed period of performance is for one base plus up to four option years. The tentative Statement of Work is shown below�please review it for maintenance and service details. PLEASE PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IN YOUR RESPONSE: 1)� Your company�s name, address, email address, telephone number, and point of contact. 2)� Provide your CAGE code.� 3)� Provide your business size (small, large, other).� 4)� Has your company provided this type of service before?� If yes, has your company provided this type of service to a Department of Defense Agency? If yes, please note which agency or agencies, the award number(s), and the time period during which the service was provided. 5)� Does your company have any existing Department of Defense or federal government (for example, GSA, NASA SEWP, etc.) schedules for this type of maintenance and service work?� ���� If yes, please provide your schedule contract number(s) and note which Schedule the contract is on (GSA, NASA SEWP, etc.).� IMPORTANT NOTE:� There is no need to provide a quote at this time.� This RFI is being issued only to determine how many vendors in the open market are interested in and capable of providing the type of maintenance and service listed, the size of these businesses, and whether any of the responding businesses have existing contracts for this type of service on any Schedule contracts �(like GSA, NASA SEWP, NIH, CHESS, etc.).� SEND YOUR RESPONSE TO:� Provide your response (and any questions) via email by Wednesday, February 24, 2021, 11:00 a.m. Eastern. POC:� Cecilia McLaughlin, Contract Specialist, DFAS-Columbus/CSD.� Email address:�� cecilia.m.mclaughlin.civ@mail.mil ------------------------------------------------------------------------- STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)--Tentative Maintenance for Canon Colorwave 3600 Printer and Stacker Select Scanner For Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) Columbus 1.0 SCOPE: Establish a Service and Maintenance contract for an existing Canon Colorwave 3600 Network Printer and Stacker Select Scanner. 2.0 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The period of performance will be one year with the start date being the date of contract award with four one year Options. 3.0 Place of Performance: DFAS-Columbus, 3990 E. Broad Street, Bldg. 21, Room B117, Columbus, OH 43213 4.0 Service Requirements: � ��4.1��Provide Service and Maintenance of printer and scanner to include the replacement of all non-consumable parts. �All replacement parts used in service and maintenance shall be brand new, not refurbished, parts. � �4.2��Complete repairs within 40 business hours of the initial notification. Ensure that the printer and scanner are in operational condition prior to the technician departing. � �4.3� �All Maintenance must be performed onsite at DFAS-Columbus, 3990 E. Broad Street, Bldg 21, Room B117, Columbus, OH 43213, during normal business hours Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. � �4.4��Next Business Day Service Response is required for all maintenance and service requests. � �4.5� Yearly routine maintenance must be performed on printer and scanner to include: � � � � �4.5.1 Wiping down the exterior� � � � � � �4.5.2� Cleaning all Feed Rollers� � � � � �4.5.3��Dusting inside the Toner area� � � � � � �4.5.4��The printer and scanner will require the yearly routine maintenance within 90 days after contract award. � �4.6� Perform all Firmware updates to printer and to scanner when required for repair. � �4.7� The Serial Numbers of the printer and scanner covered by this maintenance agreement are: Printer-493600181 and Scanner-355500021. � �4.8��Maintenance includes all parts, travel, and labor. � �4.9��The contract is a firm-fixed price contract. � �5.0��The contract price includes five help desk incidents for the printer per year and one help desk incident for the scanner per year.
