- The purpose of this special notice is to announce that Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the Office of Acquisition, Operations Strategic Acquisition Center (SAC) is sponsoring a Virtual Reverse Industry Day Briefing via Zoom platform on February 25, 2021, at 11:00 EST This is a Reverse Industry Day that will provide insights from Industry Leaders as to how they would like to interact with the Clinical, Acquisition and Program Offices of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The event will include speakers from Large, Medium and Small Business. Attendees will be able to listen and pose questions via Chat to the Moderator, Joe Grace, President and CEO of Grace and Associates, and to listen to the presentations and questions from the VA Officials and industry speakers. The topic of this Reverse Industry Day will be: Telehealth - ""The Art of the Possible"": How can Industry and the VA work more closely as partners to enhance and expand this capability to better serve our Veterans; Speakers from Industry to be announced. Speakers from Industry: To Be Announced From the Department of Veterans Affairs: Dr. Neil Evans, Chief Officer, Connected Care, Veterans Health Administration & Senior Advisor, Federal Electronic Health Record Modernization Dominic Cussatt, Assistant Secretary Information and Technology / Chief Information Officer (Acting) Jennifer McDonald - Senior Advisor to the Acting Deputy Secretary Kevin Galpin - Executive Director, Telehealth, Veterans Health Administration Dr. Angela Billups: Executive Director, Office of Acquisition and Logistics Phil Christy: Acting Chief Acquisition Officer and Principal Executive Director, Office of Acquisition, Logistics & Construction Christopher Parker, Associate Executive Director, Strategic Acquisition Center, Office of Procurement, Acquisition and Logistics The registration period for this event will close on February 24, 2021 at 5:00 pm EST.
