Description

Pre-Solicitation Notice: W912DR21R0013����������������������������� ������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������ Aluminum Sulfate (ALUM) and Polyaluminum Chloride (PACl) at the Washington Aqueduct, Washington, DC Description of the Work:� This requirement is to Furnish all the Washington Aqueduct�s Alum and PACL in accordance with these specifications. Alum shall conform to the requirements of ANSI/AWWA Standard B403, latest revision, for Alum, except as modified or supplemented herein, and shall be certified to meet NSF/ANSI Standard 60. The Polyaluminum Chloride must be a Polyaluminum hydroxychlorosulfate and is referred to as �Polyaluminum Chloride� in this specification. Polyaluminum Chloride is used at Washington Aqueduct�s McMillan water treatment plant (WTP). Polyaluminum Chloride shall conform to the requirements of ANSI/AWWA Standard B408, latest revision, for Polyaluminum Chloride, except as modified or supplemented herein, and shall conform to NSF/ANSI Standard 60. Period of Performance:� Base year plus four option years Location of the delivery: Washington Aqueduct: -Dalecarlia Water Treatment Plant 5900 MacArthur Blvd., N.W. Washington, D.C. 20016-2514 -McMillan Water Treatment Plant 2500 First Street, N.W. Washington, D.C. 20001 Solicitation Information: The solicitation will be uploaded to beta.sam.gov next week.
