Description
Salient Characteristics:���� (See attached Solicitaion W9124D-21-Q-0096 - complete all fields�and return) Brand Name or equal to Garmin / inReach Explorer + Satellite Communicator Part Number 010-01735-10 Capabilities of GPS Transmitter� Training requirement at a minimum should alert the common operating picture (COP) when:� Real-time tracking of Cadet Navigator. Initially, 35 concurrent users projected to one monitor with capability to expand the number of users viewed simultaneously. a. Location accuracy: 20 meters or less b. Update Rate to COP: two minute reporting c. Coordinate Display: MGRS, UTM, & Latitude/Longitude options d. The capability that allows text communication between GPS unit, to assist in lost and injury reaction. e. Capability must provide 95 percent to 98 percent coverage of land navigation training areas with a goal of 100% g. Emergency alert button, Soldier injured and �panic� button is pushed (SOS alert) h. Battery life for multiple days of use between battery charging Cadre must have the ability to graphically show the route traveled by the user (35 initial users concurrently on one screen and individually) Rugged/Waterproof: The capability transmitter, in working configuration and connected to the individual�s ������uniform /LBE/rucksack. Must be durable enough to withstand being dropped at different angles from a height of six feet.� It must be survivable in extreme conditions associated within areas where training is to be conducted. It must be submersible in up to one meter of water and be shockproof. Battery Life:� GPS transmitter / receiver should last for multiple days without charging. Design:� Size: Able to fit into Army Combat Uniform shoulder pocket no larger than 48 cubic inches with a weight no heavier than 2 lbs. The contractor shall provide the government in writing the manufacturer�s standard commercial warranty on all GPS equipment purchased for the U.S. Army. Warranty information shall state at a minimum Mfg., Model, P/N, Serial number, and date each GPS unit was purchased. Shipping of all 35 GPS units shall occur NLT 30 days after date of contract award.� �Please advise on approximate earliest shipping time from date of award.
