Posting Date: February 17, 2021 Type: Pre-Solicitation Notice Agency/Office: Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10 Title: Laboratory Specimens Courier Service Classification Code: R602 Courier and Messenger Services NAICS Code: 492110 Couriers and Express Delivery Services Description: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10 is seeking to acquire COURIER SERVICES to include personnel, equipment and transportation for the delivery of Laboratory Specimens, supplies and mail from the Community Based Outpatient Clinics located in Mishawaka, Indiana; Goshen, Indiana; Muncie, Indiana, Peru, Indiana, Huntington, IN; and Defiance, OH to the Department of Veterans Affairs NIHCS, 2121 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana. The contractor shall ensure the confidentiality of all patient information on laboratory samples being transported. The VA anticipates awarding a firm, fixed price contract for a base year and four (4) one (1) year options for a total of five (5) years of service, if all options are exercised. The Government anticipates release of the RFQ to be February 17, 2021 with a due date of February 24, 2021. Questions must be submitted in written form via e-mail to the Contracting Officer no later than 13:00 pm EDT February 19, 2021.
