PLEASE NOTE:� THIS IS ONLY A SOURCES SOUGHT OPPORTUNITY, USED ONLY TO IDENTIFY ANY INTERESTED PARTIES.� THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. This action is to conduct market research and identify potential offerors and industry interest in the effort as described herein. All interested and qualified sources are encouraged to respond electronically with questions and suggestions for the Government in order to mitigate risk as requirements materialize in the future. This RFI/SS does not constitute an invitation for bid, request for proposals (RFP), or request for quote (RFQ), nor does the issuance restrict the Government�s acquisition approach. Potential companies shall not consider this request as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services nor as authority for the Government to enter into negotiations. Any information received is considered market research and may be utilized by the Air Force (AF) in developing its Acquisition Strategy, Performance Work Statement (PWS) and performance specifications and metrics. This market research will be used to assess the availability and adequacy of potential business sources prior to issuing an RFP. The Government will not respond to or conduct formal debriefings to businesses as a part of this RFI/SS. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with submission of the information being requested or reimburse expenses incurred to interested parties for responses to this RFI/SS. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES NEEDED: Organization. 371 Special Operations Combat Training Squadron (371 SOCTS), 492�Special Operations Training Group (492 SOTRG), 492 Special Operations Wing (492 SOW), Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), Hurlburt Field, Florida. Mission. 371 SOCTS provides advanced skills training to Special Operations personnel. 371 SOCTS requires Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedics (EMT-P) certified in Advanced Life Support (ALS) to attend training events. EMERGENCY MEDICAL RESPONSE AND PATIENT TRANSPORT Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedics (EMT-P): Contractor�shall provide full Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to include Advanced Life Support (ALS) and ground transport services on a government provided improvised all-terrain ambulance for patients requiring emergency transportation from training areas and Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) primarily on Duke Field, Hurlburt Field, Eglin Air Force Base (AFB), and surrounding training sites to hospitals or treatment facilities when deemed medically necessary. Patients shall typically be transferred to the nearest appropriate medical facility for higher level care EMT-P�s shall support treatment in a field setting, ambulance emergency response, in-flight emergency response, non-in-flight emergency response, transfer and transport services for active duty military personnel, reserve personnel, and Department of Defense (DoD) civilians per the terms and conditions of this Performance Work Statement (PWS). The EMT-P�s shall be required to assist with patient care within an established Ambulatory Care Unit (ACU) when not performing emergency response or transport services. The contractor shall accommodate a work schedule that allows for minimum one (1) FTE EMT-P to be available at all scheduled times throughout the 24/7 work week based on training requirements at each particular training event. EMT-P coverage hours may or may not run concurrently. EMT-P�s will be designated as mission essential personnel. Typically, range performance shall require four EMT-Ps while other scheduled times may not. Contractor personnel shall be on a flex-schedule requiring more than a standard 8-hour workday as the Government will conduct regular training events that will require overnight stays and non-standard duty hours. Normal hours of operation shall not be limited to five (5) consecutive days. The hours of operation shall coincide with mission requirements. Places of performance: Okaloosa Country Florida (in the following locations): - Hurlburt Field, Florida - Duke Field, Florida - Eglin AFB, Florida (and in various training locations within 200 mile radius of Eglin AFB) This will be a 1 year base opportunity with 1 or 2 possible option periods.
