Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD TO SOLE SOURCE: Army Contracting Command Rock Island intends to award a sole source contract to Cincinnati Inc.� Cincinnati Inc. will be rebuilding a GE FANUC C4000 model-E resonator that is part of a Cincinnati CL-7A Laser. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13-106(b)(1). The anticipated award date is 10 June 2021. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement was made due to the proprietary nature of the laser and the resonator.� The closing date for this Synopsis is 24 February 2021 at 12:00 PM Central Standard Time.
