- Purpose:� Federal Prison Industries (FPI / UNICOR)�is seeking sources who can deliver�fuzzy�whole cottonseed to the Dairy Farm Operation located in Lompoc, CA.� Seed specifications are as follows:� Foreign substances shall not exceed 2 percent.� moisture shall not exceed 13 percent.� Free fatty acids in the oil shall not exceed 3 percent.� Crude protein and crude fat (dry matter basis) will be at least 34 percent when the separate totals for each are combined.� Aflatoxin levels to be less than <20ppb.�� Disclaimer:� Sources Sought Only This notice�is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Quote�(RFQ) or a promise to issue an RFQ�in the future. This request�does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, FPI / UNICOR�is not at this time seeking quotes�and will not accept unsolicited quotes. Responders are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this request; all costs associated with responding to this notice�will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this notice�does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, if any is issued.
