- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Domestic Manufacturing Sources Request for Information (RFI) Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support, Procurement Process Support Directorate is conducting market research to understand the domestic manufacturing industry�s capabilities for manufacturing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) against viral contamination during a pandemic. This is a Request for Information (RFI) only and not a solicitation for award. The primary purpose of this announcement is to understand the domestic industrial base�s PPE surge capacity in order to evaluate the feasibility of a US government (USG) investment in support of Whole of Government (WoG) PPE requirements.� DLA requests domestic manufacturing companies that are currently manufacturing the following items submit a response by Thursday, 18 March 2021, 5:00 PM for inclusion into a WoG PPE industrial capability assessment.� Please do not email a catalog of items your company manufactures without responding to the additional manufacturing information requested below.
