Description

The National Institute on Aging (NIA) has a need for a project entitled, �The Healthy Aging in Neighborhoods of Diversity across the Life Span Home Visit Study (HANDLS-HVS): Maintaining vital links for aging participants�, to perform home-based medical evaluations for HANDLS participants who are unable to visit the Medical Research Vehicles (MRVs) for their follow-up medical evaluations. This proposed HANDLS-HVS project is for a continued need of the HANDLS-HVS study under Contract No. HHSN271201700003C with a primary focus on �performing follow-up study evaluations on all home-visit participants identified by the Government; increasing the value of the HANDLS-HVS study by reducing the biasing effect of non-random missing data; and (3) accruing specimens for the collection of biological samples in participants who have developed substantial comorbidity and disability.
