Description
Performance Work Statement: FY21 Corporate Board and Supervisory Training Contract Objectives: 1. USACE San Francisco District Corporate Board training. a. Educate Corporate Board (10 senior leaders) on techniques to better communicate and align messaging, prior to the Change of Command in July 2021. b. Training should be provided by a consultant and based on published/tested techniques on organizational health and communication but include interactive dialogue that leads to group commitments. c. The consultant may provide pre-work to be completed prior to the training. Prework may include hand-outs, books, and/or on-line assessments. d. Training will be 2 days in duration and will be held virtually on March 2-3, 2021. e. A summary report on discussion outcomes, agreements, and steps to take to maintain path forward shall be provided to the USACE San Francisco District within one month after the training (by April 5, 2021). f. Follow-up services shall be provided intermittently to ensure techniques are being properly deployed in advance of the Supervisory Training. These meetings are to be held with the Executive Office Group (Commander, Deputy Commander, DPM, Executive Assistant-- together), lasting one hour in duration, shall occur monthly for three months, and then quarterly for one-year following�the training. 2. Supervisory Training. a. Educate supervisors (~40 employees) on agreed-upon communication and alignment strategies as determined by the Corporate Board in the earlier session. b. Training should be provided by the same consultant that provided the Corporate Board training, based on published/tested techniques on organizational health and communication. c. Training should be ~half day and will be held virtually, on or around May 18, 2021. d. The training will include implementation strategies for bringing the main objectives and outcomes from the trainings to their subordinates, as well as a focus on developing teams. e. The consultant may provide pre-work to be completed prior to the training. Prework may include hand-outs, books, and/or on-line assessments. f. Follow-up services with the Executive Office Group may be provided in the form of one or two phone calls to check progress, but this may be conducted at the same time as the follow-up calls as described in 1(f), i.e. monthly for three months, and then quarterly for one year.
