- Description
- The Tennessee Air National Guard at McGhee Tyson Air National Guard (ANG) Base, Louisville, TN intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services at the Training and Education Center (TEC). The contract will be awarded under Federal Acquisition Regulation Parts 12 and 15. Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) award decision will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of proposals meeting the acceptability standards for non-cost factors as listed in the solicitation. The resulting award will be a service contract for a base period of one year with three (3) one year options. A brief synopsis of the services required is as follows: Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, management, supervision and other services necessary to perform maid service, front desk service, and laundry services for linen in buildings 404, 406, 408, 410, 412, 414 and 415. Services performed shall consist of front desk operation, room reservations, and housekeeping and laundry services for linen for students and guest staying at the TEC. Currently there are 339 Guest rooms in our facilities. Historical average applicable to four facilities is 83,280 room nights per year. This project is set aside 100% for 8(a) Small Business firms. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 561720 - Janitorial Services, with a size standard of $19,500,000.00. Your attention is directed to FAR CLAUSE 52.219-14 (b)(4) LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING which states ""By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror /Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract the concern will perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees"" applies to this project. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on-or about 1 April 2021. The tentative date for the pre- bid conference is on-or about 9 April 2021, 9:00AM Eastern Standard Time (EST), location will be in solicitation. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend and shall follow conference registration and base access requirements shown in the solicitation. A site visit will follow the pre-bid conference. The bid opening date is scheduled for on-or about 10 May 2021. Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation.
