Description
The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment to successfully remove and replace the (3) three existing diesel engines located in the DD#17 Pumping Station, Mississippi County, Arkansas, located near Blytheville, Arkansas. New equipment shall come with standard 1-year warranty. Contractor shall provide all labor, parts and tools for this project. All work to conform to local, state and federal codes. The contractor shall be responsible from removing and disposing of all fluids from existing engines and supplying and filling all needed fluids in new installation, including oil, and coolant. Work is considered a �turnkey� task. Existing 120-volt power and compressed air will be available at the station and furnished by the Government. The existing 20 ton overhead traveling crane will be made available to the Contractor. Any repairs and or replacements, not covered by this contract will be negotiated under the changes clause of this contract. All piping shall be disconnected and reused if feasible. New hoses shall be provided by the Contractor as part of this project. The work shall include the removal of the three (3) existing engines and associated exhaust systems, disposal of materials, connection to existing controls, any incidental related work according to the specifications and cleanup of the site. This project is will be an Unrestricted Procurement using sealed bid procedures. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this requirement is 811111, General Automotive Repair. �For the purpose of this procurement to qualify as a small business concern, in addition to being independently owned and operated and not dominate in the field of operation in which it is bidding on Government contracts, the concern must have had average annual sales receipts for the preceding three fiscal years not exceeding $8.0 million. This will be an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for DD17 Pumping Plant Engine Replacement. The total estimated value of this project will be between $1,000000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Solicitation will be issued on/about 18 February 2021 and bid opening date will be on/about 23 March 2021. Offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM), including the NAICS code they are bidding under, in order to receive a Government contract award and to register, the SAM Internet address is: https://beta.sam.gov.
