Description

SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE Material Handling Equipment Rental Norfolk Naval Shipyard Description Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) requires a Contractor to provide support services for the rental of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) at Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) and her annexes, as well as Naval Station Norfolk.� In order to provide the required MHE for NNSY and its local activities, a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (FFP - IDIQ) contract to a qualified vendor is required.� The scope of the work includes roughly 300 individual pieces of equipment, as well as all necessary preventative maintenance, repairs, and support.� The anticipated timing and duration for a proposed contracting effort under any future acquisition for MHE a 01 October 2021 through 31 September 2022, with four (4) one-year option periods.� THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY.� This SOURCES SOUGHT Notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes � it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future.� This Notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever.� Further, the Navy is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals.� Respondees are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this Notice; all costs associated with responding to this Notice will be solely at the interested party�s expense.� Not responding to this Notice does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued.� If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Government Point of Entry at https://beta.sam.gov/.� It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement.
