THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT, A MARKET SURVEY FOR WRITTEN INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT OR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Washington (NAVFAC WASH)/Facilities, Engineering, Acquisition Division (FEAD) Quantico, is seeking to identify eligible small� and socio-economic small business firms with the capacity, experience and interest in competing for the Marine Corps Base (MCB) Quantico Facility Support Services (FSS) requirement. The performance location is aboard and within the area of responsibility of Marine Corps Base Quantico, (MCBQ) VA. The work will be performed in a secure building. Upon review of industry response to this Sources Sought Synopsis, the Government will determine whether a set-aside acquisition in lieu of unrestricted, full and open competition is in the Government�s best interest.� This synopsis is a market research tool used to determine the availability and adequacy of potential small business sources prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of an award.� No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests.� Respondents will not be notified of the evaluation. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. There is no bid package or solicitation.� In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement, if any, that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the technical point of contact will not be given and no appointments for presentations will be made.
