- Description
- The Contracting Department, Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY), Portsmouth, VA intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) support if determined to be appropriate, utilizing procedures under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation for maintenance services in support EX-MCKEE.� The resulting contract is intended to be awarded utilizing Full and Open Competition (10 U.S.C. 2304, as implemented by FAR 6.102).� The points of-contact (POC) for this Synopsis are Ms. Denise Sturdifen, Supervisory Contract Specialist, email: �denise.a.sturdifen@navy.mil and Mr. Joel Mason, Contract Specialist, email joel.mason@navy.mil. This requirement includes contractor support for execution of required work package.� In order to provide the required support, a predominately Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract is intended to be issued.� The anticipated award date of September 20, 2021 and Return Delivery Date (RDD) is September 19, 2023. � Complete Request for Proposal (RFP) package for the execution effort is available downloading at http://www.betaSAM.gov.� The RFP number is N4215821R0003. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 336611, Ship Building and Repairing.� Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations.� By submitting an offer, the contractor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency.� Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the proposal. By submission of a proposal(s), the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States.� Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award.� Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.betasam.gov.
