Description
SOURCES SOUGHT: The Charleston VA Medical Center has a requirement for Firm Fixed Price contract to provide professional Architect/Engineer Services NAICS code 541310 for a complete design package for Project #534-21-101 Correct Electrical Deficiencies Phase III. This is not a Request for Proposal; this is a Sources Sought document only. The purpose of this notice is to determine if there are qualified SDVOSBs or VOSBs that have the experience in A/E Services for a complete design to Correct Electrical Deficiencies Phase III and are interested in this procurement. The NAICS code is 541310, Architectural Services, and the small business size standard is $8.0 million. Interested SDVOSB or VOSB firms should indicate their interest to the Contracting Officer, Chantel Guest, not later than 10 calendar days from the date of this notice via email to chantel.guest@va.gov. The following information is requested in response to this notice: (1) Evidence of verification in Vet Biz as an SDVOSB or VOSB firm under NAICS code 541310; (2) A positive statement of your intention to submit a proposal in response to a solicitation for this project; (3) Evidence of your experience in A/E Services for a complete design of Correct Electrical Deficiencies project with a construction magnitude between $5,000,000 to $10,000,000 with a minimum of one (1) located at a medical facility (please provide contract descriptions, contract dollar amounts and telephone numbers for points of contact no photographs); (4) proof of professional liability insurance required to cover the amount of this project; and (5) evidence your firm is within a 200 mile radius of the Charleston VA Medical Center. All information must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on the availability of interested SDVOSB or VOSB concerns. Failure to submit all information requested will result in a contractor not being considered as an interested SDVOSB or VOSB concern. If adequate interest in not received from SDVOSB or VOSB concerns by 15 calendar days from the date of this notice, this action will not be set-aside for SDVOSB or VOSB firms. Interested firms may reply via e-mail to chantel.guest@va.gov. Firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Visit beta.sam.gov to register in this database. SDVOSB or VOSB firms must be verified by the Center for Veteran Enterprises (CVE). PROJECT INFORMATION: professional Architect/Engineer (AE) to vertically expand the generator H building. Vertical expansion will include seismic correction of the existing structure. Project add Emergency Electrical System (EES) capacity and account for future expansion of the EES at Ralph H Johnson VAMC. Additionally, fuel oil system will be modified to be a gravity fed system to existing and future generators.
