Solicitation Number/FBO Notice: 36C24521Q0230 Agency: Department of Veterans Affairs Office: Perry Point VA Medical Center Location: Perry Point, MD Response Date: Thu, 4 Mar 2021 at 3:00PM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) Set Aside: N/A Classification Code: 61 Electric Wire, Power Distrib Eqpt End User NAICS Code: 335312 Synopsis: The Dept of Veterans Affairs, in accordance with FAR 6.302, intends to make a sole source award to a firm with the capability of providing (DGEN200K) FORTS 165k KW Diesel Generator, Tier 4 located at the Martinsburg VA Medical Center. This is for the backup generator for the existing MICU. The anticipated source is Elite Aluminum Corporation, 4650 Lyons Technology Parkway, Coconut Creek, FL 33073 for the Caterpillar XQ 230 165ks single-phase, tier 4 generator with software configuration. This is not a formal solicitation or request for quote. This synopsis of intent is to give notice of the Government s intent to make a sole source award. Contractors who can provide the Dept of Veterans Affairs with the required services are invited to electronically submit an affirmative written response indicating a bona fide ability to meet this specific requirement. Specifications for this requirement are as follows: The contractor shall provide the generator and software configuration compliant with the existing generator. Responses should appear on company letterhead and include, at minimum, affirmation of active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM), your Data Universal Number System (DUNS) number, any applicable processed credentials and qualifications, and any applicable pricing data or information. All responses should include a Point of Contract (POC), telephone number, and electronic mail address (email). Additionally, respondents should indicate whether they are a large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, 8(a) concern, women-owned small business, HUBZone, service disabled veteran-owned small business, or qualify as socially or economically disadvantaged and whether they are US or foreign owned. Responses to this notice will be used to determine the availability of this type of service. All responsible sources may respond to this synopsis and all responses will be considered by the agency.
