Description

NOTICE: This is a synopsis of proposed contract action in accordance with (IAW) FAR Subpart 5.2. This is neither a Request for Proposal (RFP) nor an Invitation for Bid (IFB). This notice should not be construed as a commitment by the Government. but rather a synopsis prepared IAW FAR 5.207 for the purpose of notifying potential offerors of an upcoming solicitation for services. Description: Hill Air Force Base, AFSC OL:H/PZIEA intends to issue a RFP for the acquisition of the Aerospace Ground Equipment 2 Contract (AGE 2) maintenance services under solicitation number FA8224-21-R-0002. The anticipated period of performance will be five (5) years four (4) months, with an option to extend services for two (2) years. The AGE 2 Contract requires operations, maintenance, repair, and dispatch services at Hill Air Force Base (HAFB), UT host and tenant units to include Little Mountain, Utah Test and Training Range (UTTR)/Eagle Range and 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG) Davis-Monthan Air Force Base (DMAFB), AZ. UTTR support shall be maintenance only. Detailed information can be found in the Draft Performance Work Statement and other Draft Solicitation attachments. Anticipated CLIN structure and unit of issue will be as follows. Unit of issue for CLINs 0001, 0002, 0003, 0004, 0005, 0006, 1001, 1002, 1003, 1004, 1005, 1006 will be EACH. CLIN 0007 and 1007 unit of issue will be Hours. CLIN 0008, 1008 and 0009 unit of issue will be Lot. 0001/1001 Category I AGE Hill AFB 0002/1002 Category II AGE Hill AFB 0003/1003 Category III AGE Hill AFB 0004/1004 Category I AGE AMARG 0005/1005 Category II AGE AMARG 0006/1006 Category II AGE AMARG 0007/1007 Over & Above Maintenance 0008/1008 Materials 0009/1009 Data 0010 Post award conference and Initial Ramp-up Foreign participation is not permitted. RESPONSES: Interested parties may submit responses, by email, to the points of contact listed in this posting. Draft documents will be posted as they become available from now until RFP release. The Government anticipates releasing the official RFP 22-26 February 2021.
