Description

This is a�Request for Proposal (RFP) for�design build construction services at the Foley Federal Building and Lloyd D. George�Courthouse in Las Vegas, NV.� This acquisition encompasses the design and construction needed to�replace existing hydraulic rolling vehicle gates at 333 W. Las Vegas Blvd and vehicle security (anti-terror) barriers at 300 W. Las Vegas Blvd and replace them with combination vehicle control/barrier gates that will be electrically operated.� This acquisition is set-aside as a total small business set-aside (FAR 19.502-2), NAICS 238290. The design build scope of work includes all necessary labor, materials, equipment and supervision for the complete design and installation of the electric security gates/barriers to improve safety and operations inside these parking facilities.� GSA intends to award this firm fixed price�contract using competitive�source selection�procedures (FAR 15.101-2, LPTA). The Government reserves the right to make award on initial offers, but discussions may be held if appropriate. The estimated total construction costs for the project falls within the approximate range of $500,000-$1,000,000. The Design Phase Services are anticipated to commence upon award of the contract on or about April 2021. The Construction Phase Work is anticipated to commence in September 2021, with a performance period of approximately 120�calendar days for the project. The project includes�conformance to the P-100 (Facility Standards for Public Buildings) and all other applicable building codes and standards. The solicitation package will only be available electronically.
