- Description
- The Air Force Test Center, Installation Operational Contracting Division, Eglin AFB, FL intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price (FFP) contract for Refuse Collection and Disposal Services on Eglin AFB, Duke Field, Camp Rudder, 7th Special Forces, Eglin Ranges and Sites in Florida. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 - Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Additionally, this combined synopsis/solicitation is�being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.5, FAR Subpart 19.8, Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act (15 USC 637(a)(1)), and the executed Partnership Agreement between the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Department of the Air Force. Please reference attached Solicitation FA282321Q4002 for additional details. AMENDMENT 1. Added Questions and Answers dated 11 Febrary 2021. Added Appendix B maps. SITE VISIT CLARIFICATION: The Government does not intend to facilitate or offer a site visit for this requirement. As the refuse receptacles are varied in distance and location, it is not feasible for the Government to facilitate a site visit to the receptacles themselves. Additionally, the locations of each receptacle for this requirement can already be found in Appendix A and B of the Performance Work Statement (PWS). To facilitate effective communication between the Government and interested parties, the Government intends to provide answers to questions as they are received, as opposed to waiting for the questions due date to pass. Interested parties are highly encouraged to submit questions regarding any additional information required in order to be able to develop an offer. Note: Questions and Answers documents (Q&A)s are cumulative. Reviewing the most recently dated version will show any and all questions and answers addressed up to the date referenced on the document.
