- Sources Sought Notice NOTICE Type: Sources Sought / Market Research for Distribution Box This is a SOURCES SOUGHT / MARKET RESEARCH notice to request information for Government planning purposes only. �Responses will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. The Government is not committed to issue a solicitation or award a contract as a result of this announcement.� Army Contracting Command � Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) is seeking qualified and capable potential vendors.� Since this is a sources-sought synopsis and not a solicitation for receipt of proposals or quotations, the Government does not encourage questions concerning this market research. This request for information (RFI) is for the manufacturing of Distribution Box, NSN: 6110-01-671-2288; NAICS Code: 334513. �The Government is seeking to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of the community, to include both small and large businesses.� If your company is interested and can demonstrate the firm�s ability, capability, and responsibility to deliver the equipment summarized above, we encourage you to respond to this announcement with a statement of your qualifications and capability.� In order to do so, you need to provide: - Name and address of the firm. - DUNS number and CAGE Code (valid System for Award Management (Beta.SAM.gov) is MANDATORY). - Your Firm�s Point of Contact (name, phone number, and email address). - Your company�s business size status (small or large) (including Service-Disabled veteran owned, if applicable).� If claiming small business status, the information must be verifiable in Beta.SAM.gov. - A summary of the item�s commercial availability.� (Complete attached market research/commercial item survey) - A summary of your company�s expertise in the manufacturing of the part. -A summary of your company�s delivery capability. -A summary of your company�s experience conducting First Article Testing -A summary of the place of performance. - Is the NAICS Code appropriate for the items being requested? Statements of your firm�s expertise should include reference to relevant contracts performed (including a description of the scope, quantity manufactured, contract number, and point of contact with phone number). All interested firms and manufacturers are hereby notified of the following requirements: In order to receive the technical data package, all bidders are required to execute a Use and Non-disclosure agreement (NDA) binding each bidder to the terms and conditions of the agreement and vendors will also need to have access to Beta.SAM (www.Beta.SAM.gov).� A copy of the non-disclosure agreement is attached to this notice or as an attachment to the solicitation or when the solicitation is issued on the web. �An official authorized to legally bind the company must sign the NDA. �The signature on the NDA must match the individual registered in Beta.SAM before access will be granted.� Upon execution of the NDA, it must be returned to Karen Kennedy by email Karen.L.Kennedy26.civ@mail.mil .� Upon receipt of the signed NDA, the technical data will be released in Beta.SAM or as an attachment to the solicitation or when the solicitation is issued on the web.� Your firm must request access to the TDP in Beta.SAM in addition to submitting the NDA in order to receive the TDP.� Once these requirements have successfully been completed, you will be granted access to the TDP.� If you do not have access to Beta.SAM, recommend you register as soon as possible. Joint Certification Program (EXPORT CONTROL) � You must be certified under the United States/Canada Joint Certification Program (JCP) (http://www.dla.mil/HQ/InformationOperations/Offers/Products/LogisticsApplications/JCP.aspx) to be granted access to the technical data (TDP) for this solicitation, via Beta.SAM (www.Beta.SAM.gov).� To register, or to re-register, please select the DD Form 2345 link (https://www.dla.mil/HQ/LogisticsOperations/Services/JCP/SpecificDD2345Instructions/ ) and submit the form to the U.S./Canada Joint Certification Office, along with a copy of the company's State/Provincial License, Incorporation Certificate, Sales Tax Identification Form or other documentation which verifies the legitimacy of the company.� See the instructions at https://www.dla.mil/HQ/LogisticsOperations/Services/JCP/SpecificDD2345Instructions/.� Email the DD Form 2345 to the address is provided on form; it CANNOT be mailed via USPS, FedEx, UPS, or faxed. �The process can take up to ten weeks for you to be certified or denied for approval under the JCP.� If you encounter problems, please contact JCP at 1-877-352-2255 or via email at JCP-ADMIN@DLA.MIL .� Your firm must request access to the TDP in Beta.SAM (www.Beta.SAM.gov) in addition to submitting the above form in order to be granted access to the TDP.� Once these requirements have successfully been completed, you will be granted access to the TDP. All interested firms and manufacturers, regardless of size, may respond to this request for information. �Information submissions can include product literature and illustrations, relevant company background/experience.� Information submissions must be received no later than 30 days following posting of the RFI.� Responses should be addressed to Karen L.
