- 5/30/2019 - The Q&A document has been updated to add question #25 (see file named Solicitation Q&A_Updated 30 May 2019). No changes to any other documents have been made and the proposal due date is not being extended. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5/23/2019 - Amendment 01 is hereby issued (along with a conformed copy), which extends the solicitation closing date to 06 June 2019 at 2:00pm EST. Amendment 01 and updated attachments address revisions required during the Q&A period. The Solicitation Q&As have been posted as well, along with the Word version of Attachments needed for proposal submission. Old versions of Attachments have been deleted. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5/1/2019 - The solicitation is hereby issued with a closing date of 03 June 2019 at 2:00pm EST. Solicitation and attachments can be found below, along with answers to questions received during the Pre-Solicitation Synopsis. Additional questions were received during the Pre-Solicitation phase and are still under review. Answers to these questions will be provided before the closing of the Q&A period. The due date for questions regarding this solicitation is 16 May 2019 at 2:00pm EST. The final solicitation is forthcoming. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 10/22/18: The following draft documents have been issued for Maritime Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT) Systems In-Service Engineering and Technical Support Services, solicitation N6523617R0008: 1) Draft Section L & M Please send any questions/comments to lacey.flint@navy.mil. _______________________________________________________________________ Draft PWS is now available for review (see attached documents). _______________________________________________________________________ Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic has a requirement to provide support services for DoD navigation systems encompassing design and development engineering, integration engineering, acquisition and prototype engineering, in-service engineering, integrated logistic support, depot repair, and/or cannibalization of US Navy and foreign military shipboard and shore platforms. The support services provided under this requirement will support the SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT) Engineering and In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) who are the designated navigation systems Engineering and ISEA activities for U.S. Fleet and Coalition Partners. Support services shall include, but are not limited to the following areas: a) Certifying U.S. Navy surface and sub-surface Navigation Systems ready for use b) Providing system troubleshooting support for all aspects of U.S. Navy Navigation c) Originating and maintaining all aspects of logistic documentation d) Designing/fabricating/testing prototype or experimental navigation systems e) Testing new and evolving navigation technology f) Assisting with ship alteration efforts This is a pre-solicitation notice. The Government anticipates that a formal solicitation will be issued in September 2018 under full and open competition. The Government anticipates award of a single-award, cost-plus-fixed-fee (CPFF), indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ), performance based contract. The period of performance includes a five year ordering period. The NAICS code for this effort is 541330 and the size standard in $38.5 million. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. This pre-solicitation notice is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Industry engagement will be held on June 5th, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with optional one-on-one sessions to follow at: DoubleTree by Hilton Norfolk 1500 N. Military Hwy. Norfolk, VA 23502 The purpose of this Industry engagement is to 1) improve the understanding of the Government's anticipated contract strategy; 2) Improve the understanding of the Government's technical requirements; and 3) provide an opportunity to ask questions regarding the Government's requirement.
