- THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE SYNOPSIZING AN UPCOMING COMPETITIVE SOLICITATION SATISFYING THE REQUIREMENTS OF FAR 5.201 AND 5.203 AN INVITATION FOR BIDS WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT FEBRUARY 22, 2021 Replace Door Hardware, Canandaigua VA Medical Center Procurement Number: 36C24221B0022 Project Number: 528A5-20-509 The Canandaigua VA Medical Center (VAMC) will be posting a solicitation to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision necessary to perform work under project number 528A5-20-509 titled Replace Door Hardware. The general scope of this project is replacing all door hardware on exterior doors in buildings 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 36, 37, and 118. The hardware is just for the coring system and no other door hardware such as hinges are needed in this contract. The contractor is responsible for field verification of all exterior doors that can gain access to the main tunnel system. This is to include but is not limited to all ground floor exterior entry points and all first-floor exterior entry points. The hardware must support the 7 pin Best Core keying system. All work will be accomplished on the Canandaigua VAMC campus as indicated in the specifications and drawings. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 with a small business size standard of $39.5 million. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. A 20% bid bond will be required and must be submitted with the bid. This project is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.
