Description

The Defense Health Agency (DHA), National Capital Region (NCR), Falls Church, VA on behalf of the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC), Main Operating Room, under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 251 as implemented in FAR 8.405-6(b)(2) � �Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the Agency Requirements,� intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price, sole source purchase order for the purchase of the Senza Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) system in order to treat chronic pain. The Senza SCS uses proprietary HF10 Therapy, which provides high frequency stimulation at 10,000 Hz and is the only SCS option designated as �Superior� by the FDA for chronic back and leg pain relief. The Senza SCS also has full body MRI compatibility, a battery lifespan of 10+ years and does not have driving restrictions (i.e. system can be used 24 hours a day), and is paresthesia-free. Nevro Corporation, 1800 Bridge Parkway, Redwood City, CA 94065, is the only authorized seller of the Senza Spinal Cord Stimulation system to Government entities. The estimated cost is approximately $895,238.00. The NAICS code is 334510, Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing. There will be no Request for Quote (RFQ) available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the government will consider responses to this notice within five days of this posting.
