- Notice of Intent to Sole Source, this is not a solicitation and no solicitation documents exist for this requirement. The Bureau of Reclamation, Montana Area Office, Canyon Ferry Reservoir intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to JHS, Inc. for treatment of mosquitos at Goose Bay located in Broadwater County, Montana. Work includes performing up to four (4) mosquito monitoring surveys, providing up to one (1) aerial larvicide application, and providing up to four (4) ground adulticide applications. Based on market research and previous orders, there are no contractors anywhere near Canyon Ferry capable of aerial application. This announcement is published as a Sole Source Notice in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 561710; the business size standard is $12M. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
