*****NOTICE REVISED TO CHANGE DATES FROM 19-22�APRIL to 20-23 APRIL 2021***** Please Mark Your Calendars!� The Department of the Air Force (DAF) intends to sponsor a hybrid Strategic Development Planning & Experimentation (SDPE)/Transformational Capabilities Office (TCO) and Air Force Warfighting Integration Capability (AFWIC) Strategy Interchange Meetings (SIMs) during the week of 20-23�April 2021.� This technology engagement will be arranged in a hybrid setting, conducting the Plenary Session virtually, followed by face-to-face dialogue between the government experts and the industry participants.� The venue for the one-on-one sessions will be the General Jacob E. Smart Conference Center, Joint Base Andrews, Maryland.� Details and instructions for the virtual portion and directions to the Smart Conference Center will be provided in subsequent updates on the Defense Innovation Marketplace site.� https://defenseinnovationmarketplace.dtic.mil/ * Portions of this Event will be Classified * Restrictions: The one-on-one sessions of this event will be classified at the Collateral Secret level and is open to U.S. Defense companies only. In order to participate, interested parties must be either a DoD employee or DoD contractor with a valid DD Form 2345, Military Critical Technical Data Agreement.� Personal security credentials will have to be validated for all attendees, including Government Military, Civilian, as well as, Industry participants. Target Audience: This event is intended to inform Industry�s large, medium and small businesses, academia, and national laboratories of the Air Force strategic direction, priorities, and challenges in many technical areas relevant to current and future Air Force Capabilities, Technology Roadmaps, and Future Acquisition funding streams.� This event will include presentations and discussions which could impact future investments, Industry�s Corporate Investment Strategies, Independent Research & Development (IR&D) technology portfolios, and new or revised approaches to collaborating and partnering with Industry.� For this reason, it is highly encouraged that industry participants be innovative, strategic thinkers, technical experts, or senior planners who have wide insight into their corporate technology portfolios and processes that can offer technical solutions, and are familiar with both long-term and short-term corporate strategic plans. Technical Agenda: The April event will be structured to provide industry with insight into ongoing Capability Development Activities, SDPE Experimentation Campaigns, AFWIC�s vision of strategic engagements with industry, as well as, proposed experimentation pathfinders and watch-list efforts.� The technical agenda will also provide senior leader level insight ranging from visionary outlooks to diving into specific topics of high level interest supporting our nation�s warfighters.� Additional details for the technical agenda are being developed and will be shared as soon as practical.
