- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to award a competitive Cost Plus Fixed Fee order for shipboard alterations for removal and installation services: The Alteration Installation Team (AIT) Contractor shall provide qualified personnel to perform shipboard alterations for the pre-fabrication, relocation, installation, and checkout of Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) stations, and installation of Electronic Consolidated Automated Support System (eCASS) onboard the CVN-69, CVN-71, CVN-78, LHD1, and LHA7. Carrier availability and yard periods are subject to change.� The procurement will be competed amongst Alteration Installation Team (AIT) Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) holders (N68335-19-G-0003, N68335-19-G-0004, N68335-19-G-0005, N68335-19-G-0006, N68335-19-G-0007, N68335-19-G-0008, N68335-19-G-0009, N68335-19-G-0010, N68335-19-G-0011, N68335-19-G-0012). The BOAs were issued under solicitation N68335-18-R-0024 on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website. The requirement will be for material and services including work in the following areas: Quality Assurance (QA), System Removal, Packaging and Shipping, Debris/Hazardous Material Disposition, Structural Work, Welding, Non-Destructive Testing, Electrical/Electronics, Piping/Plumbing, Fire Watch, and Painting. Period of Performance for the contract will be Award through July 2021, and will include options to extend through December 2022.� Only current AIT BOA holders will be able to compete for this requirement. All responsible small business sources, who have not currently submitted for an AIT BOA or who do not currently hold a AIT BOA, are encouraged to submit a capability statement in response to this announcement, and in accordance with Solicitation N68335-21-R-0134, if they would like to compete for future ship installation requirements. �All questions and submissions in reference to this notice will be sent to the Point of Contact for this requirement, Karin Quagliato, Phone: (732) 323-2475, E-mail: karin.quagliato@navy.mil.
