- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation anticipates awarding a Purchase Order for asbestos jacketed conductor removal, asbestos contaminated enclosure cleaning and asbestos contaminated conduit cleaning. The ACMs are required to be removed by a licensed asbestos abatement contractor using appropriate asbestos abatement methods and procedures in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations. Work is located at the Canyon Ferry Dam and Powerplant approximately 17 miles east of Helena, Montana. Due to time constraints, it will be necessary to award and schedule this ACM abatement work prior to the gantry crane rehabilitation project (another pre-existing ongoing project) to ensure the abatement work does not interfere with other critical-path project milestones. The contract period for this purchase order is anticipated to be May 3rd, 2021 to May 3rd, 2022, with the onsite 5-day window for ACM abatement activities to be February 21st, 2022 to February 25th, 2022. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 562910. The small business standard size is $22 million. This procurement is being advertised as a 100% Small Business Set Aside. More details will be provided for this procurement in Solicitation 140R6021Q0017 which is tentatively scheduled to be available on or about March 8, 2021 at https://beta.sam.gov. Response dates for quotes is tentatively scheduled for April 8, 2021. Prospective contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the System for Award Management (SAM) database, accessed through https://www.sam.gov/portal/SAM and must be actively registered in SAM to be eligible for award.
