- THIS REQUIREMENT IS ADVERTISED AS SOLE SOURCE. THE NOTICE IS PUBLISHED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, ""Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements."" A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government.� This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement is a request for quote (RFQ). This requirement is being synopsized as an unrestricted acquisition under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 611512, Size Standard �30.0 (millions of dollars), PSC code R499. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), located at the Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD intends to establish a FFP contract on a sole source basis to AIRtec, Inc., 46621 Expedition Drive,Suite 100, Lexington Park, MD 20653. Contractor is required to provide:�� 13 demonstration flight hours in a BT-67 aircraft. Please see attached Statement of Work for specifications. Acceptance and Delivery will be to: United States Naval Test Pilot School ATTN: Lt. Col. Derek Marchlewicz 22783 Cedar Point Road, Patuxent River, MD 20670. ***NOTE: If in beta.SAM.gov, the vendor Representations & Certifications for FAR 52.204-26(c) is marked as �does not�, vendor does NOT need to fill out the additional provision attachment (52.204-24 AUG 2020) on this opportunity. However, if within the beta.SAM.gov Representations & Certifications, FAR 52.204-26(c) is marked as �does�, please fill-in and sign the attached provision document and include with your submission to be considered eligible. Shipping Charges: These items will be delivered F.O.B. Destination, and shipping shall be included in the price.
