Description
� GSA Public Buildings Service U.S. GOVERNMENT General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to lease the following space: ������������������������������������������������� State: Michigan City: Detroit Delineated Area: North: Chicago Avenue South: Lafayette Avenue East: Russell Street / Interstate 75 West: Interstate 96 Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 34,515 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 36,240 Space Type: Office Surface OR Structured Parking Spaces (Total): 111 secured Full Term: 15 years Firm Term: 10 years Additional Requirements: Subleases will not be considered. The Government will consider existing buildings, as well as new construction.� If new construction, permits must already be in place. The Government will have access to the space 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Offered space shall be contiguous. It is preferred that contiguous space is on one floor and full floor occupancy is preferred.� Offered space must be on second floor or higher but cannot be on the top floor of the building. If a standalone, single story building is offered, it will need to be evaluated to ensure it meets the Agencies security requirements.� The space should allow for efficient layout and office workflow and support a secure interviewing configuration. Columns must have regular spacing or sufficient distance to support effective design. Contiguous space and full floor occupancy is preferred. Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease.� A fully serviced lease is required.� Offered space shall not be in the 100-year flood plain. � Expressions of Interest Due: March 9, 2021 Market Survey (Estimated): TBD Occupancy (Estimated): March, 2023 Send Expressions of Interest to: Name/Title: Alyssa Brooks, Senior Associate Office Number: 312-228-2056 E-mail Address: Alyssa.Brooks@gsa.gov Expressions of interest must be received in writing no later than March 9, 2021 at 5:00 PM EST, and must include the following information at a minimum: Building name and address; Location of space in the building and date of availability; ANSI/BOMA Office Area (ABOA) square feet offered AND Rentable square feet offered; Scaled floor plans (as-built) identifying offered space; Evidence of ability to meet the required occupancy date of March, 2023 Name, address, telephone number, and email address of authorized contact. All interested parties must either submit evidence of ownership or written authorization to represent the owner(s).� Any submission received without documentation of ownership and/or written authorization to represent the owner(s) will not be considered until such time the documentation has been received which also must be submitted prior to the Expression of Interest Due Date.� In case where an agency is representing multiple ownership entities, broker must submit written acknowledgment/permission to represent multiple interested parties for the same submission Reference Project Number 8MI2350 in response to this ad.
