- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District is issuing a Request for Proposal for the Transformer A & B Replacement project at the Fox Point Hurricane Barrier, located in Providence, RI. �This is an Unrestricted Best Value Procurement. The NAICS code for the work described below is 238210. The period of performance will be 540 calendar days�� The estimated magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.� Any responsible source meeting this standard may submit a proposal to be considered by the New England District. � This project has the following major components. The purpose of this project is to replace the two original oil filled power transformers referred to as power transformer �A� and �B� as well as the original manually operated disconnect switches at the transformer primary connections. Neither telephonic, mailed nor faxed requests for hardcopies of this solicittion will be accepted.� The solicitation will onlybe available online; in order to download the solicitation offerors must access the System for Award Management website (beta.sam.gov).� All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the New England District.� Additional questions may be email to the Contract Specialist at Heather.M.Skorik@usace.army.mil.
