- Amendment 0003 posts the list of site visit attendees. Acknowledgement of Receipt required with proposal submission via SF-30 on initial page of amendment ________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Amendment 002 to SIR_692M15-21-R-00015 Changes made have been highlighted in the amendment and are as follows: � Pg. 4, Section B.1 PRICES/COSTS, a separate item number for the bid option, which includes description and line for pricing was added. Pg.6, Section C.1 (f), the option for shading devices over the new storefront systems in Bldg. 27 &28 was indicated. Pg. 10, Part I- Section C.1 (m) 5 was added to reflect requirements and reference to specifications for the required letter from glass and glazing manufacturer / supplier. Section L.5 Offeror�s Submission letter (g), pg. 87, was updated to include this reference. Pg. 11, Section C.3 Key Personnel Requirements was updated to reflect resumes and associated certificates must be submitted as a part of the contractor�s proposal submittals and approved prior to award. Pg.18, Section F, clause 3.2.2.8-5 � Liquidated Damages � Construction (Oct 2019) was added to this section. Pg. 53, PART II � SECTION I, clause 3.2.2.3-41 Performing Work (July 2004). The percentage of work required to be performed by the prime contractor was reduced to 30% of the total amount of work under the contract on the site. This reduction in percentage was also reflected in the change to L.5 Offeror�s Submission letter (j), pg. 88. Pg.86, Section L.3, the due date for questions was adjusted to 2:00 PM EST on February 24, 2021. Pg. 88, Section L.5, the due date for proposals was adjusted to 2:00 PM EST on March 3, 2021. This amendment ONLY corrects a viewing error on drawing 2019-000031-A401 for clarity. -Posted 2/4/21 Offerors must Acknowledge Amendment on the provided SF30 for Amendment 001 ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ (1) INTRODUCTION: The FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) at the Atlantic City International Airport, NJ has a requirement for energy efficiency upgrades for multiple buildings. The work includes the provision of all labor, materials, equipment, and incidental related work for the following buildings at the WJHTC: -BLDG 305- Replace the existing sloped and domed skylight systems, storefront systems and entrances including all weather stripping at the remaining exterior doors not scheduled to be replaced with the new storefront systems, and construct three new vestibules at the secondary exits. -BLDG 27 & 28- Replace the existing pyramid skylight systems, exterior storefront systems, curtain wall systems, and entrances as well as selected interior vestibule doors and frames. (2) PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The period of performance will be�330 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). (3) NATURE OF COMPETITION: The acquisition strategy for this procurement is full and open competition and this anticipated procurement will not be a set aside. The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a size standard of $39.5M. This information is given for informational purposes only. (4) STANDARD LANGUAGE: This Solicitation is a Request for Offer (RFO), and an awarded contract may result from proposals submitted in response to this announcement. The Government will not be liable for any costs associated with the submittal of a response to the SIR. (5) SITE VISIT: A mandatory site visit is scheduled for 9:00AM (EST) on Tuesday February 9, 2021. As specified in Section L.4 (g) of the SIR, Offerors planning to attend the site visit must e-mail confirmation of attendance to the Contracting Officer at Jeffrey.Young@faa.gov by 10:00AM (EST) on Monday February 8, 2021. Note: Proposals will not be accepted from any parties that do not attend the Site Visit. (6) DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS: Responses to this SIR are due to the Contracting Officer at the email address specified in Section L.5 of the SIR by Thursday February 25, 2021 by 1:00PM (EST). Late proposals will not be considered. All questions must be emailed to Jeffrey.Young@faa.gov by 3:00PM (EST) on Monday February 15, 2021.
