Description

NAVSEA / NAVSUP FMS department requires Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts for former US Coast Guard Weather High Efficiency Cutters (WHEC), which were transferred under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program. All of the USCG WHECs have a twin Fairbanks Morse Engines (FME) Model 38TD8-1/8-12; a 12 cylinder, 7,000-horse power diesel engine as the main propulsion engines that powers the ship. The requested materials to be procured meet the minimum requirements to repair the main engine as per the technical manual and USCG provided list of materials. Please see listing of parts on the Official Allowance Parts List. If interested, please submit a capabilities statement, your ability to supply the OEM listed parts on the Allowance Parts List, while also identifying business size and socioeconomic status, to Dwayne.m.casad@navy.mil by the closing date of this notice.
