- THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to lease a SIEMENS ESPREE MOBILE MRI UNIT for a six-month term with a possible six-month option period. This Pre-solicitation Notice is issued solely for informational, market research, and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a promise to issue an RFQ in the future. This Pre-solicitation Notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. The Department of Veterans Affairs is not seeking quotes at this time, and will not accept unsolicited quotes. Respondents are advised that the United States (U.S) Government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this Pre-solicitation Notice. All costs associated with responding to this Pre-solicitation Notice will be solely at the responding party's expense. Responses to the Pre-solicitation Notice will not be returned. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. Not responding to this Pre-solicitation Notice does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, if any is issued. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the U.S Government to form a binding contract. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to continue to monitor the Beta Sam Opportunities (www.betasam.gov) site. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 1, in support of Togus Veterans Affairs Medical Center plans to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract with a delivery date of 04/01/2021. This Pre-solicitation Notice seeks to provide information from SDVOSB interested parties about potential opportunity to provide MOBILE MRI UNITS they have available to the government as commercial of the shelf items. This office will post a solicitation on or about February 24, 2021.
