- INTRODUCTION: The Army Contracting Command- Redstone Arsenal (ACC-RSA), behalf of the United States Army is issuing a Sources Sought Announcement, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e). The purpose of this RFI is to solicit industry feedback and provide all interested parties with additional information about the Government�s anticipated Army Oil Analysis Program (AOAP) Program Management Office (PMO), a subordinate of the Army Sustainment Command (ASC) Recompete requirement. This RFI is an inquiry intended to measure the level of industry interest and capabilities for competing for a potential oil analysis contract. Responses to this survey may impact the Government's decision in relation to a competitive requirement. This is not a pre-solicitation notice or a Request For Proposal (RFP), nor will any contracts be awarded from this announcement. Information provided regarding the potential contract, as presented in this RFI, is subject to change. Additionally, this inquiry does not bind the Government to solicit for or award any contract. Participation in this survey from a potential offeror is solely voluntary; no reimbursements will be made to any offeror for costs associated with participation in this survey. Data submitted to the Government will not be returned, but will remain archived as part of historic records. Lastly, participation in this RFI, while important to Army acquisition planners, is neither mandatory nor is it a requisite for future participation by the potential offeror in forthcoming Government solicitations. Contractors are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI.Acknowledgement of receipt of submitted items will not be made nor will respondents be notified of the outcome of the information received.
