- THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service, South Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a solicitation to prep and paint the exterior of Historic Dungeness Carriage House within Cumberland Islands National Seashore located in a remote location (by waterway) in St Marys GA, Camden County on or about Mar 10, 2021. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P5421R0008. This project includes the pressure washing, scraping, sanding, prepping, priming and repainting the exterior of the entire structure with one coat of latex primer on bare, exposed wood, one coat of high quality, masonry primer on exposed, unpainted masonry and two finish coats of mold resistant, high gloss, latex paint on all exterior surfaces. All paint is to be a Low VOC product. A detailed Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be provided with the solicitation documents. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses using NAICS code of 238320. The small business standard is $16.5M. The cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. All interested offers MUST have an active vendor record in SAM.gov, be a small business under the identified NAICS code and NOT have any exclusions such as a delinquent federal debt or debarment. SITE VISIT: Only (1) one group site visit is scheduled for this action on March 24, 2021 at 10:00am (ET) in St Marys GA. Details will be provided with the solicitation. Any questions must be received via email by 10:00am (ET) on Mar 25, 2021 to Mary_Stefanos@nps.gov. TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed-price contract is expected to be awarded towards the middle of April 2021. Note: Davis Bacon prevailing wages for Camden County, GA will apply. The Government intends to award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The solicitation will be posted on beta.SAM.gov on or about Mar 10, 2021. This date is subject to change. Hard copy documents including drawings will not be available - all available documents will be posted for download. Offers will be due no earlier than 30 days after issuance of solicitation unless extended by amendment. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation.
