- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. �The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this project including interested Small Business sources. �This notice is for planning purposes only. �All interested parties are encouraged to respond. �The South Dakota Air National Guard, Joe Foss Field ANG Base, Sioux Falls, SD has been tasked to solicit and award a project to construct new aircraft maintenance shops. �Contractor must provide all labor, equipment and material for the construction of a new 45,780 SF facility including administration and maintenance areas. �General construction should include: �site work, landscaping and demolition, concrete, asphalt paving, utilities, precast concrete walls, masonry, fully adhered membrane roofing, structural and miscellaneous metals, doors, windows and glazing, HVAC and DDC, plumbing, electrical and communications systems, fire and security alarm systems, fire suppression, flooring, demountable wall systems, painting, and other miscellaneous work as required. �The proposed project will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. �The type of solicitation issued will depend upon the response received from this posting. �No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. �The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of the interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of the Small Business Community to include Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Price Contract. �The magnitude of this project is more than $10,000,000. �All interested concerns will provide a notice in writing by March 11, 2021, 2:00 PM CST, stating their intention to submit a proposal as a prime contractor. �The notification shall not exceed five typewritten pages and must include a (1) positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor, (2) a completed and signed� Sources Sought Information Request Form (attached to this posting) and (3) a listing of comparable projects completed over the past three years, both government and private industry. �Please include the type of project, dollar value, Contract number, location, and a Point of Contact. �Please indicate whether you were a prime or subcontractor. �For any work as a subcontractor, provide the name and a point of contact for the prime contractor, (4) a brief outline of resources, subcontractors and key personnel that would be used during performance of the proposed contract. �In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted. �Information shall be provided to Jeremiah Minter, via email at jeremiah.minter@us.af.mil. �No facsimile responses will be accepted.
