- This sources sought notice is for informational purposes only. �This is NOT a Request for Proposal, Request for Quote, or Invitation for Bid. �It does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. �Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. �No funds are available to pay for preparation of responses to this announcement. �Any information submitted by respondents to this technical description is strictly voluntary. DLA Land & Maritime is conducting market research seeing to identify potential sources that can supply a five-year supply of radio frequency amplifiers for NSN 5996-01-557-5337 or an alternative product that could be procured in place of NSN 5996-01-557-5337. The alternative product must have the same form, fit, function, and must be functionally compatible with all existing components of the weapon system. �Interested contractors are requested to review the below description carefully to identify any potential manufacturing challenges and formulate any questions. The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to gather information that will identify sources and/or materials that can meet the long-term needs and demands of the Government. �NSN 5996-01-557-5337 has two known approved sources; DB Control (CAGE 0R8S6) under part number DB-5601 and Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (CAGE 21877) under part number 6869028. �The unit of issue for this NSN is EA. �The estimated yearly quantity required is 48 units. Interested parties should provide written responses/a copy of the market survey by 5:00 PM EST on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 to: Todd Nace, Contract Specialist at Todd.Nace@dla.mil. �If a solicitation would result from this Sources Sought Notice, it would be synopsized on https://beta.sam.gov and it would be the offeror's responsibility to monitor the https://beta.sam.gov website for any such notices.
