Pentacam AXL The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Directorate of Contracting, Edwards Air Force Base, California, intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order, Pentacam AXL, 658 S Columbus St� Alexandria, VA, 22314-4156 in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items. Melling, LLC is the only known business that meets the requirements and specifications for the OCULUS Pentacam AXL Imaging Device. North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 339112. The following will be procured: Pentacam AXL Model Number 70100 Cataract Workstation diagnostic machine QTY 1DICOM Part Number 70718 IThis notice neither constitutes a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor does it restrict the Government in any way to an ultimate acquisition approach. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the government. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL AND IS NOT TO BE CONSIDERED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106(b). This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may submit their interest and capability to the contract specialist below not later than, 12 March 2021 4:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time. Based upon the responses to this notice, the Government will determine if this proposed acquisition should be opened to competition. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
